Van Gogh: The Essentials
8 masterpieces · museum plaques · ready to cast
Android beta — now open
Art Display reimagines your favorite moments in the styles of the great masters — Monet, Van Gogh, Hokusai and more — and casts them to your Chromecast TV with museum frames, plaques and quiet ambient music.
Free Van Gogh & Cézanne galleries · no card needed · an Apple App Store version is under development
Thousands of moments you loved enough to capture — and almost never see again.
Your favorite shots live in an endless scroll, three years deep, seen by no one — including you.
The biggest, most beautiful screen in your home spends its day as a black rectangle or a generic screensaver.
Framing one photo is expensive and permanent. A gallery that changes with your mood isn't possible on paper.
Features
Everything is tuned for one outcome: art on your wall that happens to be your life.
From Monet's Impressionism to Van Gogh's Post-Impressionism and Hokusai's Ukiyo-e — each style hand-tuned so your photo becomes a painting, not a filter.
Your artwork is gently extended to true 16:9 — no black bars, and nothing of your original photo is lost.
Every artwork gets a title, its style and a short story on a plaque, shown briefly as it appears — like a private exhibition.
Classic wood, ornate gold, modern black or minimal white frames — with an original ambient catalog setting the room's mood.
Send someone you love a personal invitation link to your exhibition. You can turn it off at any time.
Uploads are temporary and deleted when you stop. Your exact location never leaves your phone. It keeps playing with the screen off.
How it works
Pick a moment you love — a holiday, a harbor, a favorite street at dusk.
Compare before and after, then confirm. In a moment, your artwork is ready.
One tap casts your gallery to the TV — framed, titled, and playing on its own.
Free galleries, ready to cast
The free Starter Gallery ships with twelve finished artworks, each in the style of a great master — from Monet’s Impressionism to Van Gogh’s Post-Impressionism and Hokusai’s Ukiyo-e. Cast them the moment you open the app, no credits needed. Tap one to see it with its plaque.
Free master galleries
Art Display ships with curated galleries of the world’s most loved paintings, free to cast to your TV — every work framed and introduced by its museum plaque.
